Symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a psychological condition that exists when a person experiences: Continuously unwelcome thoughts, such as images of germs, dirt, or repugnant sexual acts;

Violent urges;
A fear of harming people.

This disorder may also show itself in repeated actions and rituals performed in an effort to prevent or cast out obsessive thoughts. Examples of obsessive-compulsive disorder are when a person repeatedly.

Washes his or her hands;
Counts and recounts things;
Rearranges object.
